About

I’m an art director, illustrator, and storyteller focused on building character-led worlds and narrative visual systems. My work spans branding, publishing, and original IP, with an emphasis on tone, emotional clarity, and how visual decisions shape meaning over time. I’m especially interested in projects where story, structure, and restraint matter as much as surface aesthetics. Much of my work is informed by a deep interest in children’s and family storytelling, where tone, character, and emotional clarity matter most.

I’ve spent over a decade working in publishing and brand environments, including long-term roles designing and art directing books at Penguin Random House, as well as building and leading The Lobster Studio—an independent illustration-driven brand I founded and ran from concept through execution. Across both institutional and independent work, I’ve collaborated with writers, illustrators, and teams to develop cohesive systems that support narrative, audience, and intent.

Currently, I’m focused on senior art direction and creative roles where storytelling, judgment, and authorship are central to the work.
